Homemaker is a photographic study taken inside the houses of different family members or friends. It is a a series about feeling at home through other’s way of living and accommodating over the years.
I am interested in how intimate space is related to the person who lives in it and how easily it shared with loved ones.
It is stage photography to the same point that Vernacular photography is staged. There are no metaphors or undiscovered meanings. What you see is what it is. I love the preparation of the “stage” as much as the preparation of the “actors”.
They are dressing up for an important moment, the photographic moment.
