The readjustment to democracy in Romania after ‘90 made people to talk about politics all the time, everywhere
and with anyone. The family dinners were the time of the political fight beteween my family members with different
political views. This state of affairs was supported by the domination of the TV in the family life. Between classic
animations like Tom and Jerry and the late access at the American comedy series of the ‘80, the news and the political
talk-shows were the most important TV shows of the day.
